About Me

I have been a professional web designer in Chicago for over 10 years. 

In 1997, I graduated from Chicago’s American Academy of Art with a dual degree in Illustration and Graphic Design.  After completing my academic career, I worked on pre and post production video work in Los Angeles. I started learning computer graphics and developed a strong interest in web publishing, HTML and web design. Soon I became an avid consumer of any and all relevant literature in the field.  While carefully honing my skills in DHTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I quickly progressed to compound this expertise with thorough supplementary knowledge of digital graphics, programming, web hosting, web applications and web servers. 

In 2000, I adopted the aid of my current associate Bill Casey; together, we spearheaded the creation of Yourlink Web Services Inc.  Yourlink is an innovative and uniquely poised company that is characterized by the mission to provide custom web design, web hosting, web development solutions to today’s businesses, organization and individuals.  Tarek Orabi joined us in 2004 and brought with his database and web application programming expertise. We also market and advertise our clients web sites through various online networks and search engines in order to increase interested traffic and leads generated through the web.

My recent work includes contracting and consulting work for large business and corporations. I have managed and maintained web applications and content management systems (CMS).  I also frequently update and maintain content websites, whilst managing servers for Yourlink’s quickly growing client base.
